  • EDUCATION PARKS

    Educational Volunteers today has 10 Education Parks, two in Istanbul and others in Ankara, Antalya, Eskişehir, İzmir, Gaziantep, Samsun, Şanlıurfa, Van.

    The Education Parks are established in extensive areas and allocated by the local governments have all the necessary facilities needed for a well-rounded educational support.

    Education Parks have a capacity to serve 5,000 children every year. They have 10,000-20,000 sqm open space and 1.200 sqm closed area which includes sports facilities, 10 activity rooms, 2 computer rooms and 1 library.

  • LEARNING UNITS

    Learning Units are smaller locations established in provinces and districts with limited educational opportunities allocated by individuals or local governments.

    Learning Units have a capacity to serve 800 children every year. They have 250-300 sqm closed space area which includes 4 activity rooms designed for different types of activities, 1 computer room and 1 library.


  • CITY REPRESENTATIVE OFFICES

    In addition to Education Parks, Learning Units and Firefly Mobile Learning Units we started the City Representative Offices in 2006 in order to become more widespread, to answer to local demands and to reach children where we don't have any locations.

    The City Representative Offices, in accordance with the Support for Social Activities project and with the permission from the Governor and Provincial National Education Directorate, implement our educational activities in primary schools within school hours and also in Community Centers, Children and Youth Centers, Public Education Centers, Libraries and Sport Centers with the support of our volunteers.

  • FIREFLY MOBILE LEARNING UNITS

    Educational Volunteers reach children with the mobile learning units, Fireflies where there are no Education Parks and Learning Units. After the 1999 Marmara Earthquake, the mobile learning units were activated by the Hope 2000 Project to help children in the earthquake region to continue their education. Later, these vehicles were improved and the Project was turned into "Firefly" project.

    Firefly Mobile Learning Units have a capacity to serve 3.300 children every year. They have a computer room with 12 computers, 1 free activity room, 1 in-built living quarter.
