TEGV Volunteers Got Together in Istanbul
This year's fifth Regional Volunteer Meeting was held in İstanbul on May 5th.
Around 600 volunteers participated the meeting which was held at the Doğuş University campus. The meeting started with an opening speech by Oktay Özinci and Director of National Education Muammer Yıldız, chairman of the board of directors of TEGV, after which our General Manager Berna Çağatay made a brief summary of the previous year. Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Servet Özdemir from Gazi University made a presentation on the topic "Wellbeing of a child". Our friends of education, as well as all volunteers of 2, 3, 5, 8,10 and 15 years were acknowledged with a ceremony. In the volunteer forum part of the meeting volunteers found the chance to share thoughts, views and suggestions and ask questions to the TEGV department managers. The İstanbul Regional Volunteer Meeting was finalized with a pleasant concert.
