TEGV Volunteers Got Together in Izmir.
This year's first Regional Volunteer Meeting was held in Izmir on February 25.
Around 750 volunteers from 13 TEGV sites participated the meeting which was held at the Ege University campus. The meeting started with an opening speech by Oktay Özinci, chairman of the board of directors of TEGV, after which our General Manager Nurdan Şahin made a brief summary of the previous year. Afterwards, Burcu Oy from the Bilgi University Youth Studies Unit made a presentation on the topic "Wellbeing of a child". Our friends of education, as well as all volunteers of 2, 3, 5 and 8 years were acknowledged with a ceremony. In the volunteer forum part of the meeting volunteers found the chance to share thoughts, views and suggestions and ask questions to the TEGV department managers. The Izmir Regional Volunteer Meeting was finalized with a pleasant concert.
