TEGV Teams collected 4 cups at First Lego League.
This year's local tournament of the International First Lego League (FLL) took place at the Middle East Technical University Congress and Cultural Center in Ankara on 17-19 February.
TEGV took part in the tournament with 9 teams from our Education Parks across Turkey. Among the 80 teams that competed in the FLL tournament, our teams from the Şanlıurfa Sevgi-Erdoğan Gönül EP, Eskişehir Atatürk EP and Antalya Suna-İnan Kıraç EP were awarded for their outstanding performances.
FLL tournaments aim to acquaint children with science and technology while raising their awareness on issues of social responsibility, using the Lego Mindstorms technology and Lego Education products. At the FLL tournaments, children of age 9-16 are expected to develop projects that bring solutions to various global problems. This year's theme "Food Factor" enabled children to explore ways to keep food safe.
