As Citizens We're Active Participants library is composed as a part of Koç Academy Leader Development Programs Leader and Human Social Responsibility Project.
In the scope of Koç Academy Leader Development Programs Leader and Human Social Responsibility Project, the 23 member project team has procured support books for Citizenship Education Program through the book campaign they organised in September. The Project has ended by the "Children's Rights" activity organised on 3 October World Children's Day at our Zeyrek Learning Unit.
In the scope of Leader and Human Social Responsibility Projects, which has been maintained with Koç Holding for 7 years now, 5 Summer Activity Closing Festivities, 6 Activity Point Improvements and 1 Cultural Trailer Children Festivities were realised with 12 groups in total until today. This year a different project was designed with the 13th group and the project team realised procurement of Citizenship Education program support books for 10 Training Parks and 50 Educational Units in order to meet a need/expense of the Foundation.
By means of the As Citizens We're Active Participants library, it is targeted to increase the interest and awareness of children and volunteers in terms of different themes contained in the Citizenship Education program and to allow access to information whenever needed and to enrich our libraries.
