Starting My Career Journey
The "Starting My Career Journey" program is implemented as a part of the Colorful Horizons Project, which is the Corporate Social Responsibility project of Visa Europe and 23 member Turkish Banks. The program aims at raising consciousness and awareness among children on discovering their individual characteristics (interests, values, roles), and about the variety of occupations and their interconnections.
The "Starting My Career Journey" program involves activities for 6th, 7thand 8thgraders such as raising self-awareness and having a positive self-perception, raising awareness about the benefits of academic success and learning about career planning process.
Interesting fun and enjoyable educational materials were developed for children.
The target population of the Starting My Career Journey program is the, , 6th, 7th and 8th grade children.
The volunteers who would like to teachthe "Starting My Career Journey" program are preferred to;
- Be a graduate or university student in Social Sciences ( Psychology, Guidance and Psychological Counseling, Child Development, Social Work, Pre-School Teaching, Primary School Teaching)
- Have effective communication skills
- Be open to new perspectives and personal development
