Citizenship Education Program
The Citizenship Education Program (As Citizens We're Active Participants) was developed to support our children to become modern citizens who know their rights, are not involved in violence, are against stereotyping, biased behaviors and discrimination, are able thing about social issues especially in a critical manner. This program was developed in memory of our distinguished donor, exemplary citizen Nirun Şahingiray.
The Citizenship Education Program targets the, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade children.
The program lasts through the semester and involves activities such on relations between individual and society, children rights, gender, media, conflict resolution and participation.
The volunteers who would like to teach the Citizenship Education Program are preferred to;
- Be a graduate or university student in Social Sciences or Education
- Be interested and have a background about social issues.
