Young Shirts
Since 2009 TEGV has been implementing the "Young Shirts" program in collaboration with Migros and the Turkish Football Federation (TFF). The program involves activities that teach football based on sports ethics and fair play. The program aims children to become happier individuals by learning about healthy lifestyles, tolerance and fair play. The program was developed by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and the volunteers in this program receive a "Type E Coach Lisence" at the end of one year of volunteering.
The Young Shirts program targets 5th, and 6th grade children.(11-12 year olds.)
The volunteers who would like to teach the "Young Shirts" program are preferred to;
- Be a graduate or university student in Physical Education or in a Sports Academy
- Be actively involved in sports as a licensed sportsman or have experience in football/coaching
